Meghan Markle chose British designer Claire Waight Keller, now the artistic director of Givenchy, to design her simple and classic gown.

Ms. Markle's wedding dress has been designed by the acclaimed British designer, Clare Keller, the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy.

Prince George of Cambridge wore a miniature version of the Blues and Royals frockcoat. Made from blue doeskin, they were single-breasted with a stand-up collar and figured braiding of Regimental pattern. His trousers were made of blue/black wool barathea with three-quarter scarlet stripes fastened with a leather strap. The uniforms were cut and made by the tailors Dege & Skinner in Savile Row. His initials embroidered in gold on the shoulder straps, as memento.

Meghan Markle choose the British designer Clare Waight Keller wedding gown, Featuring an open bateau neckline and a triple silk organza underskirt, Meghan paired the minimalistic design with the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara which was made in 1932 and features a center detachable brooch made of ten diamonds dating back to 1893. Her 16-foot Cathedral length veil featured a trim of hand-embroidered flowers from each of the 53 counties in the Commonwealth. She also wore shoes by Givenchy made of silk duchess satin and featuring a refined pointed couture design. 

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex removed her veil and let a few strands of hair come out of her low bun to frame her face, revealing the discreet earrings she wore on the big day.

Meghan’s five meter-long silk veil held in place by Queen Mary’s diamond tiara featured flowers from all Commonwealth 53 countries, as well as her native California. Her wedding dress was simple in a classic white designed by Clare Waight Keller

Meghan Markle entered St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle for the wedding service. The dress was made of silk with three-quarter-length sleeves, an open boat neckline and a train with built-in triple silk organza underskirt. Waight Keller helped develop a double bonded silk cady for the construction of the dress, which featured only six seams.  The dress was without lace or any other embellishments. The dress is augmented by a long 5 meter (16-ft) veil, hand-embroidered with a variety of flowers on its hem, and symbolic crops of wheat. It was 3 meters wide. The veil took longer to create than the dress itself.  Markle chose two favorite flowers – wintersweet (Chimonanthus praecox), which grows outside Nottingham Cottage, and the California poppy (Eschscholzia californica), from where she was born – along with individual flowers representing the 53 countries of the Commonwealth, reflecting the couple's interest in the work of the Commonwealth.
