The Duchess of Cambridge wears the sparkling and lightweight tiara at the glittering state dinner at Buckingham Palace.  The delicate diamond tiara with fan motifs crowned by floating diamond arches - which is also known as the Papyrus tiara - over an up-do style that saw her hair swept from a side parting to an elegant knot. Although only the third time she's worn a tiara, this is the second time the mother-of-two has showcased this stunning headpiece, indicating that like the Queen's late sister, this will become her tiara of choice for official dinners.

Queen Elizabeth II, wore a white tulle banquet dress embroidered with diamante sequins.  She
chose the set of George VI sapphires, a set that consists of a tiara, necklace and earrings, and which were first worn by Princess Louise of Belgium, who died in 1924
