Upon their marriage, Prince Louis had to give up his
succession rights as his bride was not of royal blood. Although he retained the
title of Prince of Luxembourg, his wife and sons were originally given the
surname Nassau and no titles. This changed on Luxembourg National Day on 23
June 2009, when Tessy was given the title Princess of Luxembourg and their sons
and future heirs the title, Prince of Nassau. The couple pictured in
