Queen Letizia of Spain stuns in a strapless sapphire fairytale gown with glittering embellishment and a full skirt, as she joins her husband King Felipe VI for a glittering state banquet at Tokyo's Imperial Palace.

Spanish King Felipe with Queen Letizia opted a deep red velvet dress and matching shoes were perfectly offset by her bold red coat arrived in Japan to kick off their four-day state visit.

Spanish King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia looked amused as they posed with Honda's robot, Asimo, during their state visit to Japan.

King Felipe smiled as he greeted Empress Michiko with a kiss on the hand in Tokyo
