Twelve week old Prince Louis of Cambridge in royal portrait snaps taken after his christening ceremony released by Kensington Palace on July 15, 2018

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge cradles little Prince Louis in intimate portrait along with husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, their oldest son Prince George and their daughter Princess Charlotte as Royal Family posed for a photo after young prince's christening.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge gazes adoringly at her baby son Prince Louis who slept through the entire ceremony but here he has opened his eyes in an intimate portrait. Prince Louis is wearing a replica of the royal christening robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, which was created in 1841 for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, the Princess Royal. That gown was worn for all subsequent royal baptisms including the present Queen, her children, and grandchildren. But by 2008 it was clear the gown was becoming delicate and the Queen's senior dresser Angela Kelly ran up a hand-made replica in order to preserve the original.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge opted for an Alexander McQueen white dress, which features V-neckline and little puff sleeves, teamed the ensemble with a very striking Jane Taylor hat with a wide cream band trimmed with white flowers, she accessorized with new pearl cluster earrings, as she gazes adoringly at her baby son Prince Louis who was dressed in the cream, frilly lace royal christening gown, an intimate portrait in the gardens of Clarence House after the ceremony.

Prince Louis of Cambridge is happily sitting in his mom Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's arms and has his mouth open wide in a giant grin.

The blushing bride Pippa Middleton looked beautiful in a floral lace dress with a pretty high neck and flattering little cap sleeves Giles Deacon, teamed with a dramatic veil by British couturier Giles Deacon.

(on right) The Duchess of Cambridge was by her sister Pippa Middleton's side all day. Not only did she help straighten her dress train before the ceremony, The Duchess kept the children under control and stood loyally behind her after the nuptials.
