Dutch Royal Family Attends New Year Reception At Royal Palace In Amsterdam on January 14, 2020

Dutch Princess Beatrix waved at the reception as she arrived wearing an elegant monochrome dress

Queen Maxima, an international financier by trade, married King Willem-Alexander in 2002 in Amsterdam. They were seen smiling before the event.

Queen Maxima's chic gown featured a navy blue fur trim around her collar and hemline and she carried a blue suede clutch bag. While King Willem-Alexander looked smart in a navy blue suit

Dutch Queen Maxima put on an elegant display in dazzling blue earrings and a  matching fitted dress as she arrived to attend the annual New Years' reception.

Queen Maxima looked stylish in an embroidered knee-length shift dress which cinched in at the waist and was emblazoned with an intricate two-tone blue and grey pattern.  She teamed the sophisticated ensemble with a pair of statement teardrop sapphire earrings and a pair of suede stiletto heels to finish off the outfit. King Willem-Alexander looked smart in a navy blue suit, which he matched with a red and white patterned tie, finishing off his outfit with a white pocket square and a pair of dark purple leather brogues.

Queen Maxima managed to maintain her typically polished appearance despite windy conditions as she happily gestured to the crowds alongside her husband King Willem-Alexander at the event in Amsterdam.

Princess Amalia of The Netherlands looked in high spirits, with her father King Willem-Alexander offering a big thumbs up as they enjoy a day out at the Dressage World Cup in Amsterdam

While, Dutch King Willem-Alexander who looks dapper in a pinstripe navy suit teamed with white dressed shirt and salmon tie for the event at the RAI Amsterdam.

Competitors at the Dressage World Cup shocked and delighted King Willem-Alexander and his oldest daughter Princess Amalia of The Netherlands

The competition proved too much, with King Willem-Alexander and his daughter Princess Amalia of The Netherlands placing their hands on their face during showjumping event in Amsterdam

Meanwhile, other events elicited these very concerned facial expressions from Princess Margarita on left and Princess Beatrix on right.
