The Belgian noble and Provincial Councillor of Hainaut, Count Philippe de Lannoy, who was the father of Princess Stéphanie, the Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, died at the age of 96 on 10th January, 2019

Queen Mathilde of Belgium, wrapped up in a smart black coat, teamed with a black dress and patent heels, carried a patent clutch in her left hand, and finished her outfit off with a bold silver statement necklace and matching earrings. She was greeted by Prince De Ligne (left) as she arrived at the service - which was attended by the Luxembourg royals

During the sombre service, loved ones of Count Philippe de Lannoy carried his coffin through the streets of Belgium

Prince Louis also attended the funeral of Count Philippe de Lannoy, who died on 10th January 2019 at the age of 96, with his sister Princess Alexandra

Grand Duke Henri Luxembourg on left, a first cousin to King Philippe of Belgium, was dressed for the occasion in a smart tailored jacket and pin-striped trousers as he arrived four the funeral with son Prince Louis (2nd row left) and daughter Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg

Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the funeral of Count Philippe de Lannoy which was held at Frasnes-Lez-Anvaing earlier today, 16th January. She was greeted by Prince de Ligne of Belgium with a kiss on her hand as she arrived for the proceedings

The coffin was marched through the cobbled streets of Belgium as the Luxembourg royals made their way to Frasnes-Lez-Anvaing, whic his located in the Belgian province of Hainaut

Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium's new portraits have been released to mark Koningsdag, or the King's Feast at the Royal Palace of Brussels on November 15, 2018

Queen Mathilde of Belgium wore an incredible Armani Prive bespoke pink taffeta silk dress, featuring a flowing skirt, flattering Bardot cut and ruched detail. She finished off her look with the twinkling jewels and an opulent the Nine Provinces Tiara as she posed for official portraits at the Royal Palace of Brussels.

Belgium's Queen Mathilde wore a glamorous pink off-the-shoulder gown  by Armani Prive, teamed the stunning taffeta dress with a pair of dazzling diamond earrings, topped off with the Nine Provinces tiara in a new portrait with husband King Phillippe who looked dapper in his military uniform with a purple sash taken at the Royal Palace of Brussels
