Queen Mathilde of Belgium Attend the 'Francqui Prize 2015', on June 9, 2015, in Brussels

Queen Mathilde of Belgium and Stefaan Vaes (R) applaud during a ceremony to award the 'Francqui Prize 2015', on June 9, 2015, in Brussels. The scientific prize, which is often referred to as the 'Belgian Nobel Prize', is awarded by The Francqui Foundation and is worth 250.000 euros. This year the award goes to Stefaan Vaes, who is a world reference in the research into the theory of quantum groups and operator algebra to solve complex mathematical problems.
