Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York in a sophisticated blue dress that nipped in at the waist and featured a dipped hemline, as well as navy colored panels around its capped sleeves and middle. Teamed her frock, with an elegant black fascinator that sat atop of her fiery red locks and featured netting that hung across her face. She was clutching onto a huge umbrella to ensure she stayed relatively dry while taking on the grey skies as she stepped out into the grounds as the horse racing got underway.

Matching the sleeve detailing on her dress to her beautiful fascinator, she was perfectly co-ordinated, finishing her outfit off with little black pumps and of course a large black umbrella, as she attended the King George VI meeting at Ascot .

She appeared enjoying the day's festivities as she battles with the wet weather at Ascot Racecourse.

  1. It's quite a nice dress, but it fits her so badly. Way too tight. I size larger, even if it had to be tailored afterwards length, would have made it a classy look. The way she chose it, all I can see is that it doesn't fit. Too bad, it's a very elegant dress and it's still a complete miss in my opinion. I applaud her choice of flats on a wet grass day.

    1. I agree with you, a bit tight by the waist. This type of dress fits better for flatter tummy, don't you think?
