Belgium's King Philippe, sweltered in the 29-degree heat in a dark tuxedo suit while Queen Mathilde, managed to keep her cool in a bejewelled hot pink dress. The modest floor-length gown that skimmed the figure was perfect for the colourful occasion. She added a miniature clutch bag decorated in a similar pattern to her dress, and added glamour with over-sized diamond drop earrings. Her blonde tresses were pulled back into a loose bun at the nape of her neck.
