Dutch Royal Family Attends New Year Reception At Royal Palace In Amsterdam on January 14, 2020

Dutch Queen Maxima put on an elegant display in dazzling blue earrings and a  matching fitted dress as she arrived to attend the annual New Years' reception.

Queen Maxima looked stylish in an embroidered knee-length shift dress which cinched in at the waist and was emblazoned with an intricate two-tone blue and grey pattern.  She teamed the sophisticated ensemble with a pair of statement teardrop sapphire earrings and a pair of suede stiletto heels to finish off the outfit. King Willem-Alexander looked smart in a navy blue suit, which he matched with a red and white patterned tie, finishing off his outfit with a white pocket square and a pair of dark purple leather brogues.

Queen Maxima of The Netherlands dazzled in a fitted blue gown and matching teardrop earrings as she arrived to attend the annual New Years' reception.

Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik's impressive uniform included gold epaulets, a red-and-gold collar, and a chest full of medals, while Crown Princess Mary topped her heavily-sequined light pink dress with a tiara, as they celebrated his 50th birthday with a glittering gala at one of Copenhagen's palaces, attended by fellow European royals.

Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik impressive uniform included gold epaulets, a red-and-gold collar, and a chest full of medals, while he carried an elaborate fur hat in his white-gloved left hand along with a sword. His wife looked every bit the Crown Princess as she topped her heavily-sequined light pink dress with a tiara and matched her husband with a turquoise sash arrived at the dinner at Christiansborg Palace.
