The bride Crown Princess Elia gave her new husband the Crown Prince Leka II of Albania a sweet kiss after their wedding ceremony.

Newly wed Crown Prince Leka II of Albania and Crown Princess Elia of Albania. The bride looked like a fairytale princess in a classic poufy ball gown, decorated with lace that continued down sheer sleeves, was the perfect pick to make history in, and her veil equally poufy and extra long, only added to that breathtaking factor and delicate tiara for her big day, held at the Palace of Brigades in Tirana, Albania.

 

as King Leka II marries longtime fiancee Elia Zaharia in a lavish ceremony in capital Tirana.  It was the country's second royal wedding. (Zog remained king until April 1939, then lived in exile until his death in Paris on April 9, 1961. His son King Leka I passed away in 2011, leaving Prince Leka II the sole heir to the Albanian crown)
