Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited Japan on October 10 until October 14, 2016

Queen Mathilde of Belgium looked resplendent in a floor length bronze gown complete with intricate embroidery and a ceremonial sash, as she attended a Japanese state dinner in Tokyo on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2016


All eyes were on Queen Mathilde of Belgium as she arrived at the ceremonial occasion in Japan's capital. Keeping her hair out of her face, in order to showcase her dazzling smile, the Queen opted for a polished chignon for the event, and of course the star of the show was the dazzling Wolfers necklace tiara that she sported for the event.

Queen Mathilde of Belgium dazzles in a tiara packed with 200 diamonds and opted a floor length bronze dress decorated with intricate detailing as she accompanied her husband King Philippe at a state dinner in Tokyo 

Queen Mathilde of Belgium wore the Wolfers necklace tiara decorated with 200 diamonds as she attended the state dinner in Tokyo.  The glistening headpiece was Originally worn by the late Queen Fabiola after it was given to her as a wedding present. The versatile jewelry can also be worn as a necklace and was crafted by Belgium jewelers Wolfers.

During their first day of their state visit Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium visited the Nezu Shrine in Bunkyō region of Tokyo.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived in Japan on October 10, 2016 where they began their day at the Belgium Embassy where Queen Mathilde wore a midnight blue flock dress.
