Princess Noriko of Takamado's Wedding Banquet at Hotel New Otani in Tokyo on 08 October 2014

On 8th October, the wedding banquet for Mr Kunimaro Senge and Ms Noriko Senge was took place at Hotel New Otani in Tokyo. 

HIH Crown Prince Naruhito made a toast.   The members of Imperial Family attended the banquet.

On 2nd October, HIH Princess Noriko of Takamado attended the ceremony bidding farewell to ancestor gods of Imperial Family held at the three shrines inside Imperial Palace prior to her marriage on 5th October.

Japanese Princess Noriko's Royal Wedding on 05 October 2014

 Princess Noriko bid farewell to Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. She is the daughter of the emperor’s late cousin, Prince Takamado. With her marriage to Kunimaro Senge, the son of the high priest of Izumo Shrine, she formally left the imperial family on 02.10.2014

Mr. and Mrs. Senge. Noriko Senge formerly Princess Noriko of Takamado and the second daughter of Norihito, Prince Takamado and Hisako, Princess Takamado.  She married Kunimaro Senge on 5 October 2014. As a result, she gave up her imperial title and left the Japanese Imperial Family, as required by law.

Pursuant to Imperial Household Law, Princess Noriko gave up her title of Princess due to the wedding to a commoner and became Ms Noriko Senge. The reception will be took place on 6th October at the Hotel Ichihata in Matsue City.
