How Meghan and Prince Harry's son is SEVENTH in line to the throne after his father. The baby boy comes behind their father Prince Harry in the line of succession. He will supersede Prince Andrew in the line of succession following a 2011 change in the law that granted the same status to sons and daughters. But the child will not be given the title of prince and he will instead be known as the Earl of Dumbarton.
