Prince Julian of Sweden to mark his third birthday - March 26, 2014

The proud parents share a clip from their Instagram stories of the youngster Prince Julian looking fascinated by the smoke flying away after he blew out his birthday candle.

Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf announced that the five grandchildren are no longer hold the Royal Highness status and will not be expected to perform public duties when they grow up. He was under pressure to cap the cost of the monarchy. They will not receive taxpayer funds or be expected to take part in royal duties. “They will retain their prince titles and their duchies. - October 6, 2019

Pictures emerged this evening of Maline Sommerlath clinging to her green dress appeared to come apart outside the palace, with other guests forming a human shield around her in an attempt to protect her from embarrassment.

Maline Sommerlath, who is married to the Swedish Queen's nephew Patrick Sommerlath, experienced the wardrobe malfunction after her elegant green dress came apart, exposing her underwear, as guests rush to the rescue by forming a human barrier to block the gaffe from sight at Drottningholm Palace Chapel.

The children were invited up to the altar to see the water being poured into the baptismal font, as adorable Prince Alexander of Sweden watched closely to the ceremony, pictured on left.  In keeping with tradition, the water used is collected from a source on the island of Öland.

Queen Silvia of Sweden played the doting grandmother to Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's elder son, Prince Alexander.

Princess Madeleine and Chris O'Neill's eldest child, daughter Princess Leonore, looked fascinated by the font.

The godparents were invited up to the altar to hold their hand above baby Princess Adrienne of Sweden.

The gorgeous little girl Princess Adrienne of Sweden was born three months ago in March 2018.

The adorable three-month-old baby Princess Adrienne of Sweden was fast asleep at the start of the ceremony.

Princess Adrienne was as good as gold, wearing the traditional baptismal gown that has been passed down through generations. Princess Adrienne's young cousins all wore the dress at their christening, as did Princess Madeleine, Princess Victoria, and Prince Carl Philip. Each baby's name is embroidered into the hem of the gown.

(on the center floor) Princess Leonore of Sweden, four, couldn't sit still for the hour-long christening ceremony of her baby sister Princess Adrienne and momentarily stole the show.

Princess Madeleine with her baby daughter Princess Adrienne cradled in her arms, with her husband Chris O'Neill their son, Prince Nicolas, two and their eldest child, four-year-old Princess Leonore, was at her side, during the christening of their youngest child at Drottningholm Palace Chapel in Stockholm, Sweden.

Prince Carl Philip looked after his sons, baby Prince Gabriel on his lap and Prince Alexander on left, while Chris O'Neill had his hands full with Prince Nicolas and Princess Leonore on right playing with a hand fan.

Swedish Princess Madeleine looked simply stunning as she attended her daughter's christening. She opted to wear a gorgeous floral, knee-length dress by Giambattista Valli. She completed her looks with a floral garland headband and minimalist court shoes. Pictured with her parents Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf and cradles her baby daughter Princess Adrienne in her arms.
